What is a 'rule' of creativity you love breaking?
“The idea that ‘you need to have a clear direction before starting.’ I love diving in with a loose idea and letting it evolve naturally. Often, the best ideas emerge when I don’t try to force structure too soon. Creativity thrives in exploration, and some of the most innovative outcomes come from unexpected detours. It’s freeing to embrace ambiguity and let curiosity lead the way.”
What’s the best way to gain perspective?
“Putting myself in new, unfamiliar situations—whether it’s traveling, learning from someone with a different worldview, or tackling a challenge I’ve never faced before. Those moments of discomfort often open my eyes to things I hadn’t considered. Reflection afterward is key, as it helps connect the dots and solidify the lessons learned. Plus, stepping back from daily routines allows me to see how small details fit into the bigger picture.”
